Product Description
The Dedicated ACCI Choice PODD™ with Compass is configured as a Dedicated device to meet the functional specifications of the Medicare/Medicaid funding requirements and is locked from computer access and all other computer features. After the unit is delivered, the customer may choose to upgrade the device to its full capacity by contacting ACCI and request an optional integrated feature.

This version of Compass includes the premium PODD Pageset. PODD, created by speech pathologist Gayle Porter, is a way of organizing whole word and symbol vocabulary to provide immersion and modeling as well as a means to express a range of messages in a variety of environments. There are PODD Pagesets to provide multiple options to suit the communication and language requirements of different individuals.
Compass provides a voice for individuals who cannot use their natural voice to participate in their everyday lives. Compass is the sixth generation of software from the company that you can rely on to provide a pathway to communication success.
With the ability to quickly customize your communication pages, Compass provides all individuals, no matter their age or communication level, the power to communicate with everyone who is important in their life. PODD with Compass also includes all the content found on devices and the Compass app, Providing the largest variety of communication content available in any AAC solution.

The Dedicated ACCI Choice PODD™ with Compass has flexibility by offering choices of protective cases. Several cases have enhanced the volume of the device to make it easier to distinguish sounds; many have handles for carrying and shoulder straps for portability and some cases can be mounted to a wheelchair, or tabletop. All Dedicated models come with a limited 2 year warranty.
